Washing Clothes and Managing your Laundry:
Laundry Day seems to always be something we do not look forward too. There are ways that we can make it more enjoyable though! Just a few things to keep in mind so that our clothes don’t turn out rigid or with some awkward smell. So let us share a few details with you then in this regard.
Detergents: You would want to use the right detergent at the right amount, as using too much detergent takes away the softness of your clothes it can also cause harm to your machine, so depending on what type of clothes you may be using – all whites, delicates, extremely soiled clothing or colored clothing.
Temperature: Next the water temperature should be kept in mind – you make it a cool wash for woolen or delicate clothing and generally a hot wash for towels, napkins, bed sheets and so on.
Softner: If you like your clothing nice and soft don’t forget to use fabric softener in your last rinse, as that will leave the clothes smelling good and fresh and the clothes would still maintain their softness to make them comfortable and cozy to wear. Now don’t we all just love that?
Drying: Yes! During the busy days we all forget about the clothes that have been dumped in the dryer and it might stay there for hours or maybe even a day but I definitely hope it’s not more than that! The clothes just being washed will start to smell if we don’t air them out quickly and that when you sometimes get that awkward smell on your clothes. To avoid it and also maybe to remind yourself you would want to set an alarm so that you don’t forget about those clothes thus saving you the time to re-wash them!
Clothes like woolens and stretch materials need to be dried flat so that they don’t stretch and loose their shape.
Checking the instructions on your clothing it would show you how each piece could be washed – so collecting all the similar pieces it could all be done at one go. Keeping it mind that their color doesn’t run or you might end up with a rainbow in your machine!
Thinking about it, it doesn’t sound so difficult now does it!
So keep these little pointers in mind and you would be well off doing your own laundry!
